How to Increase Stamina

Take any sport like wrestling, cross country, basketball, swimming, etc; the one thing that is common among them is that athletes would require stamina and increase it naturally. Regardless of what kind of sport you are playing, this is something that is common among all athletes.

Increasing stamina is not simple and easy, however, you can accomplish it if you know how to. One thing common among athletes like Tiger Woods, Micheal Jordon, Lance Armstrong, Micheal Phelps, etc is that they know how to build stamina naturally. Now for common people like us it is important that we know how to increase the stamina and not like sports persons.

The answer is simple and just like how you expect. Now if you want to increase the endurance and side by side lose the excess weight, along with increasing the stamina, then you need to do a lot of things. The first step is to do is interval training and it is what you would need to do to increase the stamina. With this you could not not increase the stamina, increase the endurance and burn the excess fat.

Basically, the concept of interval training is keeping the body off the balance. Just think about it. You may have got accustomed to the regime workout routine and after some time you notice that the body has hit the plaque. But when you cannot view the gains, which was in the beginning, you do have to see some other way to get through the plaque. This is the place where the interval training will come into being.

Interval training is a great exercise to keep the body in shape and helps to build up a climax in what comes next and in doing so, you could burn a lot of fat and increase the stamina. Basically, interval training can be a great replacement for running. By running for extended duration of time, you can begin the jogging and walking at a slow place. After that you can kick up the exercise by entering the sprint session for the next 30 and 40 seconds.

So, after or when the heart rate reaches the peak, you need to slow down and start to jog and walk again. When the heart rate reaches and settle down to the normal rate, you can run continue to jog again. This continuous fluctuation in walking and running would help in keeping the body a bit off balance and burn quite a lot of calories in less time when compared to the traditional workouts.

Through this, your entire work out interval will be about 15 to 25 minutes, but at the end you must have burned about the same amount of calories as much as you would have when you have run continuously for about 50 to 60 minutes. This becomes the best means or secret for increasing the stamina.

Stamina building is quite easy, but you need to know the proper procedure. There are various means and if you feel that one method or exercise is not giving the desired result, try to do another exercise along with it. Don’t stop just increase the time you spend.
