Since the blood type differs from one person to another, each individual will not be having the same kind of nutritional requirements, even if they are somewhat related or have the same kind of lifestyle.

There are four major kinds of human blood types – A, AB, B and O. Among them O is the most common blood type. Somewhat 44% of the US population have O type blood. Also, 42%of people have blood group A. The remaining human blood types like AB and B constitute less than 10%.

  • Type AB, – Such blood types are called enigma. This is somewhat a mixture of types B and A. The type of food people who belong to this group must consume are tofu, seafood, beans, diary, grains, etc. In addition, they need to avoid food items like chicken, corn, beef, beans, etc.
  • Type O – People of this blood group are called hunter. Individuals belonging to this blood group must consume high protein diets such as fish, meat, poultry, and certain vegetables and fruits. This diet resembles a paleo diet.
