Tryout Yoga

We should all love yoga. Here are the reasons.

  • it increases flexibility
  • tones the body
  • Improves energy levels and vitality
  • it also helps in weight reduction,
  • maintenance of a balanced body system

By doing asana (yoga postures), we can notice positive changes in the above aspects. However, there is so much more about yoga practice. Beside asana, we practice pranayama (breathing techniques), kriya (cleansing techniques), mudra (hand/finger postures), meditation and so on. With regular practices combining all the above, most practitioners are sensitive enough to notice that yoga also has powerful effects in improving emotional health and encouraging spiritual growth.

The word “yoga” came from Sanskrit word “yuj”, meaning unite. Yoga is a holistic approach to unite the body, mind and soul, to unite all aspects of oneself, to cultivate wholeness, and to maintain overall balance. The practices may be simple to or not challenging at all (as in the cases of some pranayama and mudra practices) but the effects are amazing.

As a yoga teacher and provider, we have worked with many students and clients who set their yoga practice “goals” before the first class, be it physical, emotional or spiritual stretch.  With regular practices, they all feel much better and find their initial goals more or less achieved. What are your short term goal and long term goals? Why not give yoga a try with EzFit Singapore?
